The Lady Patriots played Everton, a team that had posted a big win earlier this season at the Mark Twain Conference Tournament. This time however, on a night where both offesnes struggled, the Lady Patriots got enough shots to fall to down the Lady Tigers 36-29.
Meanwhile, the Patroits led for a good part of the first three quarters of their game with the Tigers but could not hold back All-State Player Cody Brewer, who scored 35 points including the game winning shot with just over a second to go to lead his team to a 66-64 win. Billy Evans had 27 points to led the Patriots.
Both S of O Teams open play Saturday at the Class 1 District in Lesterville with the Boys playing Marquand-Zion at 4:30 and the Girls Eminence at 6:00.
