Waller Returns to Sidelines for All-Star Game

Al Waller last coached a college basketball game in 2002, when he was on the College of the Ozarks Bench in the NAIA Division Two National Basketball Championships. Waller will return to the sidelines in March as he has been tabbed to lead an All-Star Team in the Inaugural NABC-NAIA Men's Basketball All-Star Game presented by U.S. Bank.

Waller will have a group of NAIA Division Two All-Stars go up against a teams of NAIA Division One All-Stars coached by Don Meyer, who coached several schools during his 38 year career including Lipscomb, Tennessee and Northern State, North Dakota. The game will take place during the NAIA Division One Basketball Tournament at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City on March 22.

Waller was C of O coach for 25 years before retiring at the end of the 2002 season but continues to serve as the school's Athletic Director and Co-Director of the Division Two Men's National Basketball Championships held annually at C of O.
