College of the Ozarks takes two games in Conway, Arkansas Tuesday Night against Central Baptist:
C of O Men
The College of the Ozarks men put forth a superior defensive effort in earning another road conference win by defeating Central Baptist (Ark.) College in Conway, 64-46, on Tuesday night. The Bobcats took a 33-28 lead into the locker room at halftime, but started the second half with a 15-3 run and never looked back. C of O was carried by senior Nathane Simniok who finished with a game-high 28 points and was the only Bobcat to finish in double figures. The win improves C of O's record to 19-6 (7-3, MCAC).
C of O Women
The #17 College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats (20-6) bounced back in Conference and beat Central Baptist College (7-12) on the road Tuesday night 74-51. C of O had three players with double figures, led by Freshman Alice Heinzler who scored 16 points and was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. Junior Kayla Kepler had a well-rounded night as she scored 15 points, pulled down 9 rebounds, and had 7 assists with no turnovers. Senior Emily Walker finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 had steals for the Lady 'Cats. Abbi Stearns led CBC with a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. College of the Ozarks will remain tied for second in the MCAC, and will play Waldorf College and #12 College of Saint Mary on Friday and Saturday for their final home games of the season.
