Boone County School Employees Take Reserve Deputy Training

Helping rural school personnel in Boone County better cope with potentially dangerous situations is the goal of training being conducted by the sheriff’s office.

Training is underway in Boone County for those who would like to become reserve deputies with the sheriff’s office.

Other schools in Arkansas have trained their faculty so they could carry guns in school.

So far, employees from the Alpena, Lead Hill, Omaha and Valley Springs schools are taking the training.
