A northwest Arkansas legislator is considering a run for higher office next year.
State Senator Johnny Key of Mountain Home says he’s been encouraged to run for Lt. Governor in 2014…
Key, a Republican, is part of the senior leadership team in the senate. The incumbent Lt. Governor, Republican Mark Darr, announced he was running the Congress, but then pulled out of that race because of ethics questions.
Key says a consideration in entering the Lt. Governor’s race would be deciding where he can do the most good.
