An important service in the Ozarks is expanding, and needs your help.
The Hospice of the Hills in Harrison is in the process of building on to its facility to accommodate more clients and their families.
Hospice of the Hills opened in 2005. One of the driving forces behind getting it off the ground was Jerry Jackson. He told Scott McCaulley on At Your Service about a meeting of business people asking for help in building the hospice…
Construction on the expanded house is underway. Jackson says the total cost of the addition is about $800,000, of which $600,000 has already been donated.
Hospice of the Hills’, “Twenty is Plenty” fund raising radiothon comes to KHOZ-AM and 102-9 the Z Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The money raised Thursday helps with the expansion, as well as helping those in need of the services of the hospice and can’t afford it.
