A Yellville woman is in jail on Medicaid fraud charges.

Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel reports that 35 year old Amanda Coker was taken into custody Thursday. She’s is alleged to have billed the Arkansas Medicaid Program for services she did not provide.

Coker is accused of billing Medicaid for services provided for a beneficiary during a 10 week period in 2011, when she, in fact, only worked as an attendant to the beneficiary for a few days.

Coker is in the Pulaski County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
