Panthers Begin "Fall Road Trip" with Three Wins

The Forsyth Panthers began their Fall Season of all road games with three wins over the weekend.

The Panthers won their Southwest Central League Opener with a 2-1 win at Galena on Friday before sweeping Ripley, Oklahoma in a doubleheader Saturday at College of the Ozarks 12-2 and 13-12.

Forsyth is playing their entire Fall Schedule on the road while their home field gets rennovated with an artificial surface for furture use as an All-Purpose Athletic Field that were approved by Forsyth School District Voters as part of of Bond Issue in the April Election. The facility is expected to be ready for use by the Spring of 2014. The Baseball Panthers are using the Kirbyville Field for practice during the Fall Season.
