The fact that Branson rolls out the red carpet for military veterans is well known. That red carpet is out this weekend for Armed Forces Remembrance Days.
Activities began Thursday with a special Armed Forces Days Salute on the Showboat Branson Belle.
According to June Tillis with the Veterans’ Memorial Museum, her place plays host to a special get together Friday (today)…
That starts at 11 a.m. Friday. Friday night is the Thunderation Celebration at the Hughes Brothers Theatre.
For Armed Forces Day Saturday, there’ll be a parade at Branson Landing at 11 a.m., with a special armed forces day observance at Plumb Nellie Days at 12:30, and a Pig Roast and Casino Night fundraiser for the Vietnam Veterans Association at the Lions Club Building at 5:30.
The weekend’s activities also include a special show at the Clay Cooper Theatre at 8 o’clock Sunday night, and a Veterans Assistance Benefit Show at the Hamner-Barber Theatre at 7 p.m. Monday.
