Branson Assigns Parking Passes to Downtown Businesses

A total of 200-hundred free parking passes were assigned to downtown Branson business owners and their employees as part of a three month initiative to free up parking spaces in the downtown business district. 

Steve Prange is the project manager for Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, who has been hired by the City to manage the downtown revitalization effort. He says the number of passes is more than they expected:

Prange says the City waived the 10-dollar a day parking fee for businesses at their parking garage located on Sycamore, which is managed by the Hilton. 

Parking was concern discussed in April by business owners during the first for four public informational meetings on the Branson Streetscape Project. 

The next meeting will be June 27th from noon to 2 p.m. at the Crawford, Murphy & Tilly studio at 210 South Commercial Street in Branson. To learn more, click on the links below:
