Mayor Presley Declares Salvation Army Week in Branson

Mayor Raeanne Presley declared today (Monday) through Friday (May 17th) “Salvation Army Week” by Proclamation throughout Branson. The ceremony held Monday (this afternoon) was at the Salvation Army offices in Branson. Branson Corps Officer Major Robert Meyer received the proclamation. 

Presley says the Salvation Army has been reaching out to the community for 17-years by providing food to the hungry, relief for disaster victims and outreach to the elderly and ill. She says the time and talent given by volunteers offers a message of hope and happiness:
